Airfare isn’t cheap, and everyone wants to score the best flight deal for their vacation. In order to do so, our Newark Airport parking company has listed a few travel apps that can help you get the best flight price for your future getaway:
Kayak
Perhaps the most well known travel app, Kayak aims to show its users which airlines are offering the best deals for their desired flight. It searches through a variety of flights from a variety of airlines so you can choose the best one. It will also alert you when your desired flight is within your price range and it can be used to check hotel rates and rental car rates as well.

Hopper
It’s hard to know when to book (there’s less of a “sweet spot” than you think), and that’s where Hopper comes in. The app notifies its users when it believes their desired flight is at its lowest price. According to their website, Hopper uses “data sets comprising billions of flight prices to help travelers find the right destination for their budget and feel confident that they’re getting the best possible deal.”

Skiplagged
If you’ve ever heard of hidden-city ticketing, there’s now an app that can do the work for you. Once you input your destination Skiplagged will search through available flights to that destination and include ones that pass through that destination during a layover. This lets you book a flight for a lower price and still gets you to your destination. While this process isn’t necessarily illegal, it’s frowned upon in the airline industry, which is why Skiplagged was nearly sued by United Airlines.

Airfare Watchdog
If you follow Airfare Watchdog on Twitter, you know that the company is up to date on the most current airfare deals. By downloading the Airfare Watchdog app, you can not only compare flight prices from some of the most popular travel sites, you can also be alerted to new flight deals as they emerge.

Skyscanner
Skyscanner is similar to Kayak; it also searches millions of flights from different airlines so you can see which airline is offering the best deal. It also searches prices for the days leading up to and following your trip so you can see if there’s a better time to fly. Like Kayak, you can also use Skyscanner to compare hotels and rental cars to find the right price.

Yapta
While many travel apps help you find the cheapest airfare or alert you when your flight is at a low price, Yapta takes it a step further. In addition to tracking flight prices, the app will let you know if a flight you’ve already purchased has gone down in price. If it has, you can look into getting a refund from the airline. Yapta can also track hotel prices.
