EWR Airport parking

If you’ve ever thought about booking a cruise, you may have come across the term “half-board,” full-board,” and/or “all-inclusive,” but what exactly do these mean? Is one better than the other? Our EWR Airport parking company is here to explain so you can choose the best option for your next trip.

All three of these terms refer to the cost of your cruise and what you may pay up front. Which option you choose depends on your budget and how much time you want to spend on board vs. at the port city.

Half-Board

If you’re more interested in exploring the area you’re cruising to, half-board may be the best choice. With this option, your cruise package will only include one or two meals (usually dinner or breakfast and dinner). This means your up-front price will be lower, but you’ll have to pay for your other meals, snacks, and drinks while you’re on your trip.

Full-Board

Full-board takes a step up from half-board and tends to include your core meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as a basic drink package. This means you’ll be responsible for any snacks or other drinks you may want. Full-board is a good option if you want to spend some time off the ship, but don’t want to have to worry about finding your own food.

All-Inclusive

If you want to take a cruise trip without having to worry about your meals or beverages, all-inclusive is what you’ll want to choose. This option means your up-front price will be more, but your food and drink will be “free” while you’re on board the ship. All-inclusive gives you the opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy your vacation.

Have you ever taken a half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive cruise? If so, what did you like or not like about it? Our EWR Airport parking company would love to hear your thoughts!
