Guide to Parking at EWR

Our Guide to EWR Airport

When it comes to traveling, every airport has its own layout and its own unique way of moving travelers through to their flights. If you’ve never been to an airport before (especially a major one like Newark), getting around can be a little overwhelming. Remember, if you are looking for valet parking near EWR airport, make a reservation with us today. Here are some things to know before you arrive:

Layout

Luckily for those flying out of Newark, EWR has a relatively simple layout. When you look at the airport from above, the three terminals (A, B, and C) are set up in a semi-circle, with Terminals A and C across from one another and Terminal B on the side. (Click here to see the airport map.) If you happen to enter the airport at the wrong terminal, there’s a shuttle that can easily take you to the correct one.

Security

Going through security can prove to be time-consuming and sometimes a little stressful, so our EWR valet parking members have a few tips to help you get through smoothly:

  • Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before a domestic flight and at least 3 hours before an international flight. This will help give you plenty of time to get through security and to your gate.
  • Make sure any liquids you’re taking with you are in 3-ounce containers and that all of those containers are in an easily accessible plastic bag. Some airports require that your liquids go through security separate from the rest of your luggage.
  • If you’re traveling with a laptop, make sure it’s out of its case and separate from the rest of your luggage.
  • Don’t pack dangerous items such as: knives, scissors, firearms, mace, weapons, sporting goods equipment, etc. in your carry-on. Instead, pack them in your checked luggage. (For a full list of items you can and can’t bring, click here .)

Parking Near EWR Airport

When it comes to EWR Airport parking, there is a daily parking garage, a daily parking lot, and short-term parking lots outside of each terminal. Prices vary depending on where you park and for how long. We suggest skipping the EWR Airport parking, however, and valet parking with us instead. We offer affordable daily rates and a free, easy-to-use shuttle service that will take you to and from your airport terminal 24/7.
