With so much to do in New York City, why not make it your Valentine’s Day destination this year? Our Newark Airport parking members have found some great events, restaurants, and hotels for every type of couple in the Big Apple:

Events

Love Bites Show

If you love duets, don’t miss the annual Love Bites show. You can enjoy a performance by downtown stars who team up to sing huge duet hits like “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” and “I Got You, Babe.”

Cupid’s Undie Run

Up for a scantily clad adventure this Valentine’s Day? Why not partake in Cupid’s Undie Run – a one-mile run to the Brass Monkey bar in the Meatpacking District. Participants dress in underwear and raise funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Romance Under the Stars

For a little something different, head to American Museum of Natural History’s Rose Center for Earth and Space. The soiree includes an open bar of cocktails and champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and chocolate under the stars while a jazz quartet serenades.

Restaurants

Fish Bar

If you and your sweetheart are seafood lovers, check out Fish Bar at North River Landing’s prix-fix four-course dinner. For $135 per person, you’ll get entrees like skirt steak or mushroom fettuccini and desserts like chocolate mousse or raspberry cheesecake – all aboard a boat.

Leuca

Chef Andrew Carnellini opened a new Italian restaurant, Leuca, and is offering a Valentine’s Day special for $95 per person. You’ll have choices like una crudo with Sicilian citrus, lobster fra diavolo and a Sophia Loren sundae for two.

The Eddy

Head to The Eddy in the East Village for a six-course meal from chef Brendan McHale. With appetizers like uni, entrees like slow-roasted lobster, and desserts like smoke vanilla panna cotta, you won’t mind the $125 per-person price tag.

Hotels

The Mark

This year, The Mark Hotel is teaming up with lingerie brand Agent Provocateur for a romantic package that includes champagne, roses, and chocolate-covered strawberries, dinner for two at the hotel’s Jean-Georges restaurant, a “signature gift,” and a breakfast of champagne and caviar in bed.

Hotel Gansevoort

This hotel’s Valentine’s Day package includes roses, chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne and the classic game of Twister as well as a late check-out time and a heated outdoor rooftop pool to amp up the romance.

The New York EDITION

For a taste of romantic design, head to the EDITION, where hotel rooms feature marble, oak, and other rich accents as well as a soothing rainforest shower. For the perfect nightcap drink, you can even head to Stephen Starr’s Clocktower restaurant on the second floor.
