If you haven’t planned a Memorial Day getaway yet, consider booking a trip to one of these places. You’ll find lots to do, including festivals, concerts, firework shows, and more to fill up your three-day weekend.

New York City

No matter what holiday it is, our EWR Airport parking company can count on New York City to do it right. This year, enjoy Memorial Day parades, art exhibits, rooftop bars, comedy shows, concerts, and great food. In addition, the city’s annual Fleet Week is during the holiday weekend.

Las Vegas

If you’re not worried about crowds, take a trip to Las Vegas. Memorial Day is one of the most popular times to head to Sin City, which means there will be plenty of events, shows, hotel deals, pool parties, and more.

Denver

Denver is known for its summer festivals, and plenty of them kick off Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy Denver Day of Rock, The Big Wonderful, Artstir Denver, and more. And don’t forget to check out the many farmer’s markets around the area.

Atlanta

If jazz is your thing, head to Atlanta to celebrate. The Atlanta Jazz Festival is one of the largest free jazz festivals in the country and brings in more than 200,000 people every year. After that, head to Stone Park for fireworks, outdoor activities, laser lights, and more.

Atlantic City

Want that Sin City feel without going all the way to Las Vegas? Head to Atlantic City and enjoy a Memorial Day weekend full of concerts, tours, a boardwalk block party, comedy shows, and a light & sound show at the Tropicana.

Riviera Maya, Mexico

If you really want to get away for the holiday, head down to Riviera Maya. The area boasts great prices May through October and because most people stay closer to home for Memorial Day, you won’t have many tourists crowding your space.

Chicago

Chicago comes alive during the summer, and the end of May is a great time to go for beautiful temperatures. While you’re there, don’t miss the fireworks at Navy Pier, the annual Red, White and BBQ competition, or the Randolph Street Market.

Washington D.C.

Like the 4th of July, Memorial Day is best spent in the nation’s capital for a true sense of military honor. Head to the National Memorial Day Parade, enjoy the National Symphony Orchestra, or check out the Rolling Thunder Run for the Wall motorcycle rally.

St. Louis

Enjoy some dancing at the Spring to Dance Festival, some Irish culture at the Missouri River Irish Fest, a variety of art exhibits, one of several walking tours, and more. Plus, what would a trip to St. Louis be without some blues music?
